We have an outstanding opportunity for a Junior/Graduate Structural Engineer for an immediate start in our busy Christchurch office. You will be either a recent graduate or finishing up your post-graduate studies, or you may already have 6-12 months experience and are looking for your next role. Key Responsibilities include: • Assisting senior colleagues in structural design • Undertaking site visits and inspections • Learning and undertaking a diverse range of structural design works • Use of software packages in the areas of feasibility, preliminary and detailed design We are looking for the following skills and experience: • Bachelor’s degree in civil / structural engineering • Masters / PhD advantageous • Excellent communication skills • Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills • Ability to work within a project-based and team-based environment whilst remaining health and safety conscious at all times • Desire to develop your career within a consultancy At URS, there are no barriers to where your talent can lead you, having the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse workforce of talented professionals on projects that impact our world for the better.
