With the vertical rebuild of Christchurch underway, we have an exceptional opportunity for intermediate level Structural Engineers with experience in the design of buildings to join our team and help shape the city. In this role you will be contributing towards a variety of projects across commercial, industrial and civic structures in both rehabilitation and new builds. Key Responsibilities include: • Design of building structures for a variety of building types • Engineering evaluations and structural integrity assessments • Working with our Structural Engineering leaders to ensure successful delivery of projects • Liaison with other disciplines within URS on a project basis • Developing and maintaining client relationships We are looking for the following skills and experience: • Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering • Experience in commercial/industrial building design • Seismic experience advantageous • Experience in a consulting environment • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-discipline team At URS, there are no barriers to where your talent can lead you, having the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse workforce of talented professionals on projects that impact our world for the better.
